Adventures in Engineering for Kids

By designing inventions and solving problems the imaginary City X will learn to thrive. Challenges that face this new city include energy, the environment, transportation, security, food, safety, and health. By using design thinking, systems thinking and other problem-solving activities the future of City X will be successful. In each chapter kids design a solution for its citizens who represent a diversity of culture, age, gender, background, and ability. While working through these exercises readers will learn about real-world innovators and technologies that are helping to shape the real world.
