Description
The Spring 1989 issue of Telescope Making — “the magazine for, by, and about telescope makers” — features the following articles:

-“The Cost of Telescope Mirrors,” by Don Scott

-“The ‘Master Plumber’ Focuser,” by Don Scott

-“Building a 6-inch f/21 Littrow Refractor,” by Andrew Sorenson

-“Cabinets Help a Crowded Observatory,” by Robert Reeves

-“Building a Dream Observatory,” by “Nick” Nicholas

-“Super Seeing at the Winter Star Party,” by Richard Berry

Telescope Making debuted in 1978 in response to Astronomy magazine readers’ demand for more information about how to build telescopes. In the premiere issue, Editor Richard Berry explained the magazine’s mission: “We see TM as a magazine that will help people share their ideas and learn from each other. ... You, and the telescopes you build, are its subject.” Telescope Making ran quarterly until 1992.
