Description
The Fall 1990 issue of Telescope Making — “the magazine for, by, and about telescope makers” — features the following articles:

-“HST and Technological Arrogance,” by Peter Ceravolo, David Shafer, David Stoltzmann

-“Constructing Foam and Fiberglass Tubes,” by Larry Hughes

-“Building a Yoke-Mounted Telescope,” by George Viscome

-“Stellafane ’90,” by Peter Ceravolo

-“A Simple Test of Binocular Collimation,” by Roger West

-“Telescope Making at the Texas Star Party,” by Robert Reeves

-“AstroFest 1990: The Best Ever,” by Richard Berry

Telescope Making debuted in 1978 in response to Astronomy magazine readers’ demand for more information about how to build telescopes. In the premiere issue, Editor Richard Berry explained the magazine’s mission: “We see TM as a magazine that will help people share their ideas and learn from each other. ... You, and the telescopes you build, are its subject.” Telescope Making ran quarterly until 1992.
