Description
The Winter 1990/91 issue of Telescope Making — “the magazine for, by, and about telescope makers” — features the following articles:

-“The Amateur Paradise of Dany Cardöen,” by Christian D. Legrand

-“A Split-Ring Newtonian for 9° Latitude,” by Luis A. Harris

-“Variations on the Schiefspiegler,” by Jose Sasian

-“PC Control for the LAAS 31-Inch,” by Michael Schettler and Richard Willson

-“Build a Periodic Error Corrector,” by Viekko Kanto and J. E. Munger

-“The Starfest ’90 Optical Quality Survey,” by Andreas Gada

Telescope Making debuted in 1978 in response to Astronomy magazine readers’ demand for more information about how to build telescopes. In the premiere issue, Editor Richard Berry explained the magazine’s mission: “We see TM as a magazine that will help people share their ideas and learn from each other. ... You, and the telescopes you build, are its subject.” Telescope Making ran quarterly until 1992.
